Health insurance for Austria – Care Austria
A longer stay in Austria has different requirements than in Germany. Anyone coming from abroad and applying for an Austrian residence permit needs a health insurance that covers all risks. Not every insurance meets this requirement. Care Concept offers a dedicated product for Austria: Care Austria. According to the provider, it is recognised by all Austrian magistrates and authorities and is, for example, listed at the MA 35 in Vienna. A supplementary declaration for the authorities is sent together with the policy (Polizze).

Care Austria Education – Requirements & premiums
Care Austria Education is the lower-premium variant. It is typically used by people who stay in Austria for educational purposes.
- Age between 12 and 35 years
- Stay in Austria for educational purposes – e.g. studies, language course, preparatory course, PhD, guest researcher or Au-pair
- The education must be verifiable
- According to the provider the premium is guaranteed for six years, as long as the education can still be documented
