Official sources and provider information

Official sources are legal texts and publications by authorities, such as the consolidated Visa Code or information pages of the European Commission and the Federal Foreign Office.

Provider information is publicly available product information from the insurer. Where they conflict, the legal text and the authority take precedence over provider information; for the contract itself the insurance terms apply.

No advice, no review of documents

This website does not mediate, does not advise and does not review documents. No statement of suitability is made for individual cases.

The competent mission decides on the issuance of a visa; the insurer decides on the acceptance and content of a contract.

Updating and translation

Every factual statement carries a review date. The date names the day on which the statement was last checked against the source named, not an automatically generated date.

Content is maintained completely in all active languages. There is no language fallback: if a translation is missing, the page is not served in another language.

Corrections and advertising links

Reports of errors are examined and the statement concerned is corrected or removed; the review date is then set anew.

Links to the insurer are advertising links and are labelled as such. They have no influence on the content shown; links to authorities carry no partner identifier.
